Why Jeff Bagwell should be a first ballot Hall of Famer

Jeff Bagwell is a legend in Houston. One of the best first baseman they have ever had in their organization. Bagwell hit 449 home runs playing in Houston, and had career batting average of 297. He was a consistent hitter his hole career and one of the most feared.

Jeff Bagwell will be a Hall Of Famer on the first ballet because he was unstoppable for 16 years. He had power, good team player and the only thing he didn't have was 3000 hits. Bagwell was one to always watch and there's no saying if he was to have stayed healthy he would still be hitting 30-40 homers a year. But, when a back goes, it goes.

Jeff Bagwell had a hard time accepting the fact he couldn't play anymore. He want out in 2006 in spring training and played through pain and would not give up. Until Houston said you cant, he still said i can. He was a warrior and maybe someday might prove everyone wrong if he come back.

Jeff Bagwell was a role model and should be in the hall of fame. I couldn't think of any better reason why not to give him that. Bagwell will always be remembered and he legend in Houston will always be a role model for future first baseman power hitters. Jeff Bagwell number will be retired and he will always be loved in Houston.
