Poetry: Feelings

Depression.

Eyes bloodshot and thoughts blurry,
Depression is gone along with the fury.

Sheepish grin and knees are weak,
Body is lifeless and soul is free.

Spirits high, around the room they float,
Humour to the brim, I want to explode.

Outside world frozen in time,
Shiver running down my spine.

Soon humour is lost and mind takes over,
Reality only a few seconds closer.

Half closed eyes watching depression unfold,
All these feelings from the joint I just rolled.
