We creatures that know nothing more than yearning. Forever wanting.
Never could we be content to have life as it is.
We must move forward and gain more. To become what is greatest, to seek our soul desire. To stand upon the mountain top and tell the world we've made it past our obstacles, and we have rejoiced in satisfaction.
Sinking into agression at the rush of our depression. May we burn with our desire.
For we want what we know we cannot, should not, could not have. Still we fight for it, kill for it, burn for it, die for it.
Oh the irony for now that our desire is gone we have nothing to strive for!
We climax, and orgasm, only to find the emptyness within the satisfaction. For burning in desire is so much sweeter than tasting victory.
Shall we desire only to desire, or shall we desire to fill our gluttony with pride?
As we shake the steps of society and burn down all our enemies, to feed within the fire. Could we not at second glance be happy chasing a phantom? Could we not prove ourselves worthy of eternal satisfaction? Must we fight for it now, and burn ourselves alive. To douse the fires of our desires for which we ever strive?
Yes.
For we are creatures that know nothing more than yearning. Forever wanting.
