As parents we need to start paying more attention and definitely get more involved in our children's lives. Start teaching when they're old enough to understand. Their morals and values need to be instilled in them . we need to be more stern and give more discipline-not necessarily corporal-but not lenient either. When a child is born, unless they are in daycare, they are mostly in the home until they are old enough to go to school. Before they even start going to school education, morals and values, and rules and regulations should already be in to play.
I am a mother of two boys and I am not perfect but I do my best at being consistent when educating them, and showing tough love.I help them with school work and attend school functions. We go on vacations together and I spend a lot of quality time with them. I keep a close eye on their social lifestyles especially with the new the confused conversion in this society. They are not perfect but that doesn't mean they participate in the everyday indecent behavior within today's youth. This generation has made a 360 degree turn and if we, as parents don't get involved now this upcoming generation is going to be left to fend for themselves.
