The dolphins definitely made a huge blunder when they passed on Brady Quinn with the ninth or tenth pick in the draft. Quinn was coming of two great years at Notre Dame, in which he played in a pro system(Charlie Weiss). Instead the dolphins drafted Ted Ginn Jr who was seriuosly hurt in last years college championship game. Cam Cameron, the dolphins head coach was also the Kansas city Chiefs offensive cordinator and that's why they traded for Trent Green. The relationship between both Cameron and Green made the transition easier but Green is at the back end of his career. Green has been one of the elite NFL quarterbacks the past six years, including three pro bowl appearences. Quinn could have learned a lot from Green in the next two seasons and gradually eased himself into the starting role but instead the dolphins fans are left with an aging defense and a lackluster offense. There is nothing to look forward to in Miami, meanwhile Cleveland is rocking. Even if Quinn bombed in Miami it would least show the fans management is trying to win. Instead they are pretty quiet in the off season and make no major trades or deals. They release Joey Harrington who played pretty good for them and over pay for Joey Porter. Know the only thing dolphin fans can look forward to is trying to stop the Patriots from going undeafeted. It's going to be a long winter in Miami and Brady Quinn could of shined a little light on what was once a great football franchise.
