Our true self is described as such by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin: We are not a human being having a spiritual experience. We are a spiritual being having a human experience.
The spirit within is our power source of life. It can not create energies, it can merely manipulate the already created. From that point of view, a higher source of energy is thereby required to maintain life and keep us functioning.
Our true self is the inner being - the spirit - that connects like the workings of electricity to the higher source.
Electricity comes from the power of falling water (in this ares - Niagara Falls) and is harnessed in a generating plant. It is sent out as power through wires, transformed in various neighborhoods and then into our homes. It is unseen but we know it is there when we plug in our appliances.
Electricity is a strong power. When some form of this transmission goes wrong (a transformer breaks) the power comes too strong for use and will actually work against your appliances.
We have the capacity to be in touch with our power source and to work within its laws of operation. We can do this through meditation. Meditation is a connection with our spirit within to the spirit without (God is spirit).
When our spirit is at peace, the rest of our complex also calms down to its finest qualities. The mind can function and find answers. The body is full of health and wellness. Meditation has opened us to the balance and empowerment that we seek.
When all is in balance, we function on the highest level of spirituality. We find our opportunities opening to prosperity and promise. We find our well being in our own happiness. We function as a whole being.
