"In the beginning there was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God....All things came to be through him and without him nothing came to be." John 1:1-3

This statement alone proves that the followers of Christ can survive without the "Published" Bible. The Bible in definitions means: "any book, reference work, periodical, etc., accepted as authoritative, informative, or reliable" (Dictionary.com Unabridged (v 1.1) Based on the Random House Unabridged Dictionary, Random House, Inc. 2006.). Basically it is a guide, a how to book. Let me get this clear the Bible itself is a powerful book. I believe that the Bible is a good start to understanding and knowing how to live as a follower of Christ, but the Word itself is not exactly in the Bible itself.

The Bible tells you things of what happened to those who lived their life following God. Their experiences, and how they overcame or did not overcome according with their interactions with God. The Word comes into place on how God speaks to your heart in hearing these testimonies and how things play into your life. The Word is mostly Divine Truth. You can receive this Truth without ever reading the bible, because God is not limited to a confined space between binders or scrolls. A lot of truths we know exist but we as human fail to see them due to our selfishness or the lies we were blinded with while we were growing up. The Word/Truth is always there. It will be revealed to you and that is when you make your choice to follow it or to ignore and dismiss it.

The bible is a tool that is use to help one see God's Word easier. Just like if you are a writer and the pencil is a tool for you to write. If the pencil never existed you would be able to find another tool to get the job done, maybe a chisel. Even though, that tool will make it harder to accomplish, but if you really believe that your writing is important, you will make it happened. God used many of tools to spread his Word. He chiseled on Stone with fire, he came to people in dreams, he sent his angels, he used animals, he sent his only begotten Son. I believe there is no way my God will let his people fall because of a book that ceased to exist. Besides the main components to being a Christian is to be aware of the things around you, Love those that you come in contact with and show that love, and last and most importantly put no other god but God himself the great "I Am that I Am" in the forefront of your existence. Thank you for listening.
