Video game review: Two Worlds (Xbox 360)

The game I am currently playing is Two Worlds on the Xbox 360. The game was supposed to be one of the best RPG games that were coming out for the Xbox 360.... Well it fell pretty far from the mark. The game has a really good scenic world if you like standing still. The game has a tendency to freeze up and I've had to reload about 6 times losing about 3 hours in the game, which is asoloutely unacceptable when the game is supposed to be optimized for the XB 360, but it runs more like they ported the game engine from the PC version (where the game started) to the XB 360, which really doesn't make sense.

The game doesn't have "free play", where after beating the game there is a short cut scene and you automatically get sent back to the title screen.... This is very disappointing. The whole reason I bought this game (and I had to trade in 7 games at GameStop in order to get it) was because it was supposed to be the best RPG for the 360... While there is a vast number of Armour suits and combos and a lot of weapons, most of them are exactly the same stats wise just a different color, which in my opinion doesn't mean they are different sets of Armour's just because one is white and the other is grey and that's the only difference.

There is an Alchemy system in the game that tries to give you the ability to create enchantments and potions, but it is very flawed. The higher your level in Alchemy and the more of the same ingredients the potion oe enchantment is supposed to produce stronger results, but in some cases if you add 10 of the same item (10 is the limit) the result is something very random and is nothing close to what should have happened if you would have used 10 of something else to make potions.

Another thing about the game is the Crime system. There is a major glitch in the game where everyone in a town will go agro on you if you accidentally hit a villager or if someone on the other side of the city sees you steal something from the basement of some house and there is almost nothing you can do about it. There are some solutions found on the web to this issue, but if you screwed up the solutions then the only hope you have is to either start a new game or wait until a patch comes out.....

The fighting system isn't too bad, there are basic combos you can use the higher you get and there are "Active" and "Passive" skills that you can invest skill points in to increase a certain ability, but over all I didn't use any of the active skills, because this game is a typical "hack and slash" so the active skills are not necessary. The best skills in the game are the passive skills which allow you to hit harder, faster and with the chance to knock the enemy down, as well as skills that increase your physical protection and other attributes.

Once a patch is released for this game I believe it will be at least 10 times better than it is now!
