Ocean Song
In the waters of the ocean
flow the waves of desire,
in the soul of a creature
Burns a warm and treasured fire.
He was alone he saw her swimming
He felt his heart growing inside,
He could never have imagined
A thing of more beauty on the tide.
All his ventures round the coral
all the beauty he did see,
all the magic of the ocean
had fallen from sight completely.
She moved with grace through the currents
a body created by design,
Meant to dance to the song of the ocean
an existence which none could refine.
He felt her presence in his soul
His soul reached out a gentle hand,
a chance but to touch such beauty
would truly be most grand.
She glided upward to the surface
Filled her lungs with fresh sea air,
did not wipe the water from her face
or comb her fingers through her hair.
She felt the drops roll down her cheeks
Let the water caress her skin,
Let the spirit of the ocean
Touch her soul deep within.
She wished that it could be her home
she takes comfort in its hold,
a freedom within the constant grasp
a sense of security untold.
She filled her lungs again and down
she moved through the water that she held dear,
her eyes closed but still she noticed
she felt a peaceful presence near.
Moving forward she felt a touch
against her flesh sliding along,
she felt as she had never before
the beauty of the ocean's song.
She felt a heat inside her grow
her body could not move,
She felt a sense of untold freedom
and her soul had filled with love.
As the glide along her body ended
her eyes opened wide,
her senses returned as her body tingled
but still she felt inside.
The soul of another joined with hers
A single pleasant one,
She broke the surface to breath again
as the feelings warmed her more than the sun.
He opened his eyes and felt her inside
an energy beyond compare,
He raced to the surface to fill his lungs
and the power moved him into the air.
He felt the sweetness he had touched
as two souls merged,
the ecstasy of the pure sensation
as a comforting whole emerged.
She saw his body return to the grasp
The sleekness of his form,
The very skin that touched her own
That made her feel so warm.
She felt the force drawing him to her
She dropped her arms in empty embrace,
He swam to her open arms
And filled the welcoming space.
She held tightly to his body
as they moved they felt the water's rush,
the love held her close to him
their bodies almost flush.
They broke the surface and she released
At once they both dove in,
Suspended in the depths they looked
they saw a new life would begin.
She saw him clearly through the currents
Love had changed her eyes,
She saw the beauty of the ocean
All that beneath lies.
He saw her; the greatest treasure
ever held by the ocean,
He saw her moving toward him
in her graceful motion.
She pressed her face to his
Her hand caressed his skin,
Together they felt the warmth
That they shared within.
He smiles at his happiness
A smile that will remain,
any sadness they once felt
they never will again.
In the waters of the ocean
Flow the waves of desire,
And in the soul of two creatures
Burns a warm and treasured fire.
