You have to admit it! Fall is the best time of the year to visit New York. And where can you go to explore Fall beauty? Woodstock of course! Woodstock is located in the Catskills in upstate New York just two hours from New York City. The colorful shades of the sunset makes Fall a magical time in Woodstock. And this is the best time to visit because the famous upstate autumns are in full bloom by early October. So, pack that cozy sweater and bring some sweet listening music and enjoy the scenic fall foliage view as you drive up to Woodstock land. Make sure to crank that window down and feel the fresh clean-scent of cool-crispy Fall air. Ahhhh, doesn't that sound refreshing! Once you are there, why not stay a night or two at a bed and breakfast and enjoy a glass of wine by the fireplace. Next day, Wake up bright eyed and bushy tailed and take some time out and enjoy the spectacular color show by taking a stroll around town and stepping inside area shops, gallerias, and antique shops or spend a day hiking in the near by mountains. And when it's time for dinner in Woodstock, you can be sure that there is a hearty selection available.
