One religion for everyone

If a man took a Bible and hit his brother on the head with it and the man died, would it be the bible that killed him or the man? If a Father went on a journey, and upon leaving he gave his son money and instructions on how to spend the money and to run the house while he was gone, and during the Father's absence the son squandered the money, let the house fall into disrepair. Then ignored his instructions would it be the Father's fault, the instructions fault, or the man's disobedience that caused the disaster?

If Religion has failed us as many seem to claim. Is it the fault of the Religion? Or the corruption of the man that follows the Religion? Even an Atheist would agree that nothing in itself is either good or bad, but what we do with that thing that makes it good or evil. The kindness and generosity of the Father would be an example to the son on how to treat his brothers and sisters, even if the instructions were unclear. If he knew is Father, he would know the intent of his Father.

And after having destroyed the house and losing the money through his own corruption, For the son to say that the gifts were evil or the Father was evil or to never have existed would be an indictment of the man's utter wickedness and unworthiness to be the receiver of the gift in the first place. If Religion were the gift, It wouldn't matter if It were one gift or many gifts. The corruption of the man would still be the same. It would be better for the man to pray for the worthiness to receive the gift that would save him from himself.
