Why does America always seem to have an enemy?

Because we're the big dog on the block!

Someone's got to keep those damn anti totalitarian, anti imperialists in line. We haven't bullied our way through history so that we can give up our hard won possessions, even if they do belong to someone else; every time some tin pot little country with more hot air than common sense starts sniffing around.

We've got huge corporations investing gargantuan sums of money all over the world. Sure they're ripping off the foreign populous, and denigrating their environment, but as long as they're not doing it here, who cares! And if some crack pot nobody wants to do something about it; well we'll just pop over a few cruise missiles and frag their little kiddies.

Hell we've got more military hardware than we can use, we've got to pop off a few rounds, and become embroiled in the odd war, just to make way for the new stuff. There are trillions of dollars invested in the American war machine, we can't just stop; some extremely rich people may not be able to go to Aspen this year. I just won't hear of it!

No! Better to snuff a few foreign miscreants, than stop a multi trillion dollar machine. Besides what would we do with all the money, build a few schools, some hospitals; what a joke, they don't make any money!

Someone should blow up enemies!
