It really does not matter if you are a beginner or have been gardening for twenty years, it is pretty simple. You do not have to have a special touch or talent to garden. This past year i decided to grow green bell peppers and tomatoes. All i really did was fill a pot with dirt, make a shallow hole in it, put some seeds in, covered them with dirt and watered them. Pretty soon i saw them starting to sprout in about a week or so. But if you want to suggestions for what kind of dirt to use, i would NOT use the cheap cheap dirt. You do not always get good results. I usually use Miracle Gro organic or just the regular Miracle Gro. It is good to water your plants everyday, but some plants do not require it. And try not to drown them. If you look on the internet or look on the back of a seed packet, it can usually give you some useful advice on how you should tend to a certain plant. After your plants have been in the same dirt for a while, it is good to fertilize it somehow or give it some plant food like Miracle Gro or whatever plant food you feel most comfortable giving your plants. Be wary some common pests might go after whatever vegetables you are growing, and weeds sometimes like to fester in your plant bed. It is important to remove whatever weeds that are there, because some will actually kill the plant.Well that is all the information i have for a beginner gardener.
Happy Gardening!
