I am very strongly against sending 3-and-4-year-olds to preschool. Children need to be with their parents mom and dad as much as possible. Both parents whenever possible need to teach, nurture, raise their own children. The most effective would be from conception to when they leave the nest.

God intended parents to nurture, raise, correct and teach their children. No where in the Bible does it say that we are to pond of our responsibilities of our children off on to the secular school system or even put them into Christian schools.

I admit that I did work off and on over the years. I had an older half-sister and my mom who baby sat for me, there was no way that I would have ever left my babies with strangers in the beginning. Over the years I had to trust State Registered babysitters some were great, others were okay some were worse than no good, and my children emotionally and physically abused and neglected. I always paid close attention to the actions of my children and if there was any question I moved them.
Once they were in public school they were labeled "Special Needs". I learned that the term should have been "Gifted Children" not "Special Needs", if children are taught in the way they learn then they will achieve and often excel past the "norm".

If we start putting 3-and-4-year-olds into preschool as a normal part of education we will be putting the "Special Needs" label on to kids even sooner. The emotional problems of children separating from moms (dads) at 6 years old will be multiplied at the earlier age level. Even better we can hold off putting children in to school until 10 years old if parents would just take the responsibility to properly take over and teach their own children. Parents can give their children a better education in many instances than the public school system can.

I am a home school mom and even if I were offered compensation to send my youngest child to school I wouldn't give up home schooling. There are so many ways to home school and one way to see what is out there go on to the Internet and type the following into the search bar: 'free elementary interactive sites' the search turns up 1,900,000 results. The truth kids learn very quickly working on-line and they consider it fun! Why? They think that they are doing nothing but playing games. If set up right a child can very easily do two grade levels in 9 months because they are going at their pace and not being held back because there are other children who are slower.
