Poetry: My one and only love
Article ToolsIf my time on earth was to end today,
I would not scream or cry,
But be glad of the days I had with you, nuzzled close by your side.
If my time on earth was to end today,
I would not cause a scene,
But be glad of the memories I have of you, to take with me through eternity.
If my time on earth was to end today,
I would not make a sound,
But remember the time we danced and you twirled me round and round.
So I will always treat each day,
As though it was my very last,
And to make sure that you know,
You my love, are my heart, my soul, my everything.
