The differences between adult acne and teen acne is:
* Teen acne (vulgaris) is an inflammatory skin condition that is common in adolescence. Which is characterized by skin eruptions on the face, chest and back. This acne is more common in boys.
* Adult acne (rosocea) is chronic inflammation of skin of the face. It is more common in women, but more severe in men especially the nose.
TEEN ACNE
Some of the signs and symptoms from teen acne are , development, blackheads, whiteheads,pustules( small pus filled lesions), redness, and inflammation around the eruptions.
Teen acne is caused by oil glands in the skin that become clogged for unknown reasons. When the oil in the backs up, it becomes infected by bacteria. Some cosmetics promote the development of acne especially, if they are oily. Certain drugs such as, oral contraceptives or steroids, sexual activities and uncleanliness may increase acne.
Other risks of acne will increase with, exposure to extremely hot or weather, stress, oily skin, endocrine disorder, drugs like cortisone, male hormones or oral contraceptives, and family history of acne.
Teen acne can not be prevented at the present time, but cleanliness can lesson it. Most cases respond well with a doctor's treatment, and the condition tends to disappear after adolescence. But acne will flare up from time to time.
I your skin is oily, it should be cleanse it by the following instructions:
1. Gently message your face with soap for 3 to 5 minutes. Do not message the sorest
places.
2. Cleanse your skin gently, to prevent the spread of an infection.
3. Rinse the soap off your face for 2 to 5 minutes.
4. after you cleaning, use a deep-cleansing astringent, such as, alcohol, to remove
oil. Be sure to use a fresh washcloth everyday because bacteria grows in damp wet
cloths.
5. You should wash your hair at least twice a week and do not let it hang over your
face because, hair spreads oil and bacteria.
6. During and after a heavy exercise work out, wash the sweat and oil off your face
as soon as possible.
7. Do not squeeze , scratch, pick or rub the skin because, acne will heal better
without damage to the skin. But if you must squeeze pimples, blackheads, or
whiteheads, you should first wash your hands. Then cleanse the area with alcohol
before and before and after squeezing.
8. Do not rest your face on your hands while you are reading or watching television.
