Learning how to ski is a task that can be accomplished at all ages. In Banff, Alberta the ski hills are plenty, as are the opportunities to brush up on skiing skills. Furthermore, the sheltered atmosphere of the beginner runs facilitates a comfortable learning experience. Ski Norquay offers a variety of ski school lessons for adults and children alike. As well, it offers private ski lessons for individuals or small groups.
The beginner skier can choose to participate in the "Discover Skiing", "Ski Improvement" or "Ski Performance" category depending on their personal skiing ability. As well, persons at an introductory stage of skiing, have the opportunity to choose joining a lesson for a half day, full day, two full days or even three days. Lake Louise resort, like Ski Norquay, offers the "Discover Skiing" lessons for the beginner skier. It also includes beginner lift ticket, ski rentals and the lesson in its price. As well, there is the option to learn in a group setting or one on one with the instructor. For the beginner lessons, Lake Louise offers a half day or full day session. Lake Louise ski resort boasts one hundred and thirteen runs, twenty five percent of which are beginner level. Thus, there is plenty of opportunity for all levels of skiers to enjoy the slopes.
