Over the past few years, I have managed to convince many people that I am psychic. I even had one girl convinced that I could enter into her dreams from remote locations, successfully describing them to her the next day. I have been able to interpret people's dreams and tell them things about their own life's that I could not possibly know. Am I psychic? No.

Everybody constantly provides you clues and insights into their mental lives by representation though body language, and oral languages (irrelevant info often provides the best insights and blurs the fact that you are information hunting). There is lots of proof at how easy each of these can be to do.

Poker players whilst trying to hide what they are thinking and feeling are constantly trying to figure out what is going on in the other player's minds. The best skilled poker players are constantly reading the minds of their opponents, but really, they are just looking at all the physiological cues, every player has their giveaways, no matter how good the player is they just become more subtle. Another example of body language use is that is dating, more specifically one night stands. The most successful "players" are those who can read all the visual signs that show that another person is receptive and open.

Reading oral language take a bit more skill, but by using the right questions or phases you can guide people to give you extra information on any subject with out them being aware of its happening. This is a very common interrogation technique, which revolves around using smaller bits of information to gain larger bits. The reason psychic readings work so well is that the people who really believe in them ignore most of the mistakes given by the reader while latching onto the "hits".

Heading more into philosophical grounds, the reason that we can read minds is the fact that there is no possible way of proving that other people have minds. At the very best all we can do is emphasise and assume that signals put out by other people are similar to ours based on similar life experiences. As much as we can emphasise its impossible to have the same life experiences as another person, even an identical twin, so at best we still can guess most of their thoughts. The reason we can make good guesses is the fact that motivations within our species are typically similar.

If you cannot read what is in someone's mind, you can plant information, by using suggestive words, and painting pictures in the mind of your subjects, you can then tell them what they are thinking quite successfully even though they were not originally thinking it.

Mind reading is easy, simply because it is not real. When something is not real, it is easy to manipulate. Therefore, as long as people stay receptive to mind reading, I will be able to continue to read their minds.
