When babies breastfeed they get what they need naturally. We as a society tend to make what is natural a bad thing. Banning something as natural and healthy as breastfeeding just goes to show how selfish people have become. Any mother that chooses to give her baby the nourishment that is most healthy for them needs to be applauded not punished. Mothers that choose to breastfeed in this day and age have allot to deal with. Juggling work and motherhood and now this. It is uncomfortable for a mother to have to deal with people acting like they have never seen a baby eat before or a boob for that matter. Grow up people and let nature take it's coarse. If you don't want to see reality then stay at home, or just plain don't look. I can't imagine a place where babies can't even be fed! This is an outrageous debate and it should be a no brainer. Human nature is not bad and people should start to accept who and what they are and stop trying to take humanity away and embrace it.
These mothers go out of their way to make sure that their babies are healthy. Why is that a bad thing? I would personally feel bad if I hadn't given my child the nourishment that was the most healthy for them just because someone else felt uncomfortable during the process. I say that is their problem and they might need some counseling for their self consciousness. If someone is so against seeing a boob then why is the porn industry booming? Just because it is not on a calender does not mean that it should be banned. They show more on daytime TV. It is possible to discretely feed your baby. Women should be taught how to do this instead of being criticized for being good mothers.
What about the pump? Have you ever tried it? It is painful and is not always enough for the baby. Besides the fact that it is also a natural bonding experience. This is not porn it is nature. Do people think that they have become too civilized to feed their baby?
In my opinion it is childish, unreasonable and selfish to not let mothers do what they are naturally supposed to be doing.
