Labor Day is a holiday that signals the end of summer and back to school time for most Americans and their families. It's a great way to get a three day weekend and celebrate together with a great barbecue! Here is one of my favorite cook-out recipes

Bacon wrapped hamburgers
you will need:
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (you can use pepper jack for more spice!)

1 small finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 pound ground beef
salt, garlic powder, and pepper to taste
6 slices of bacon
hamburger buns
toothpicks
garnish as desired-lettuce, tomato, onion

directions:
Preheat your grill to med-high heat. Take a large mixing bowl and stir together the cheese, onion, worcestershire sauce, salt, garlic powder, and pepper. Once this is mixed, stir in the hamburger and mix well. Shape the hamburger mixture into six patties. Wrap the bacon slices around the patties and keep in place with a toothpick. Place the patties on the grill and cook 5-6 minutes on each side, or to desired doneness. Add to buns and garnish as desired. This recipe can also easily be double or tripled for a larger crowd!

Just pair with your favorite barbecue sides such as potato salad, corn on the cob, baked beans, desserts, etc. This is a sure crowd pleaser!
