Making Great Decisions

With a big decision the world's history began. Time became easy to measure with the coming of night and day. It all began with one decision that spiraled into something that man could not even perceive.

Out of this decision came the coming of all living things, last of all man and woman and the ability for them to make their own decisions. Well, we know how that came out. Man began making decisions and most often failed in his decision making.

Today we are free to chose and oft times we do not stop to think of the consequences. We just plunge ahead and do it because it feels good. We don't worry about what our actions does to other people as long as we get our own satisfaction.

We don't take the time to pray and meditate before we come to the conclusion that we should do it, so it's done a lot of time before the regrets move in. We are often left wondering "Why did I do that?" or " If only I had taken the time to think about it".-I would have or should done things differently.

A lot of times our decisions make us worry-become too stressful-make us ill, because we are too hasty. W don't realize that we're not in control of our destinies. God is in control.

It's true we were created to make our own decisions, but we've completely forgotten that we should seek guidance before we jump into big decisions. Pray, wait, listen before you chose.

So many times, we make our decisions based on what we see someone else doing. We don't stop and think about us all being different, not only in body, but in mind and soul also. What's right for you may not be right for me.

What a dull world it would be if we were all exactly alike, and doing the same things. God made us all different, a variety of colors, races, minds and soul that should all work together for the common good of mankind. Every decision should be made with the Father in mind.

Now we come back to the question, "What would Jesus do?" He gave you a choice, and it's up to you to make a Wise decision. Do not be hasty, not seeking direction for your actions. Pray and listen!Remember Rome wasn't built in a day! Listen to the quiet voice that speaks to you, giving you confirmation that all's right with your decision making. God answers prayer.
