as i walk outside into my yard. i see friends everywhere. my cat greets
me waiting to be fed. there are three huge toads outside that seem to
love my cats food. maybe its just the dish they love because they seem
to jump into the dish and throw my cats food all over. i have lots of
trees in my yard and the squirrels come out to play. they look like children
playing tag as they chase each other around the tree. as i sip my coffee
i hear the birds sing. which makes my two cocktails start singing to.
then there's all the little lizards , i think i have every color and
size you can imagine in my yard. i see butterfly's all over yellow
and every color you can think of. i saw a snake the other day slithering
along the grass. one day i was talking to my mother on the phone and
i heard a crash from the tree above me. a raccoon had fallen out of
the tree. poor thing he slowly climbed back up that tree. i am a animal
lover and don't want anything to happen to them. i used to leave my cats
food out at night until one morning i saw a opossum out there. i love
animals but there are some i don't want to get close to. if i sit out
at night i hear all the tree frogs sounds like a million of them out there.
i just pray they stay outside. one night i even saw bats. there fruit bats
they don't attack people. wildlife i have all kinds right outside my door.
