Before I even acknowledged who God was, he provided for me. He was looking out for me from the very beginning. I consider my life to be a miracle. I was born prematurely at 6 months at 2 lbs and 1 oz. God had a purpose for me. I have seen it in the way that he has taken care of me throughout my life.

Living with a disability is not always easy. There were times that I felt lonely, felt like an outsider, misunderstood, or that no one cared. God always provided me with a sense of having some kind of purpose. Even when kids laughed, stared, or called me names, I knew that my family loved me. I believe that God used them to show me that true loves means that people can see you for the person that you are and not judge you based on your appearance.

I am one of five children. We saw are share of hard times. In fact, there were times when we didn't know what or if we were going to eat that day, but God always made a way out of no way. I truly believe that he loves me. He provided me with food and shelter even when I didn't know what he was doing for me. It wasn't apparent then, but looking back I can see where he supernaturally intervened in my life.

There has always been a driving force within my soul that reminds me that there is something great that I must achieve. When I finally gave my life to Christ, I then began to see that God loved me and created me for a very specific purpose. The destiny that was laid out for me is one that no other human being on the earth could accomplish. He has provided me with a sense of unique beauty and allowed me to love myself for the person that He created me to be.
