Who says Clinton actually had inappropriate relationship with Monica Lewinsky?

Bill Clinton, by his statements and actions, says he had an inappropriate relationship with Monica.
Did Monica intend to expose him? Certainly! Why else would she have saved the infamous stained blue dress if she wasn't going to use it in some sort of plan to expose the President in the future?

The issue isn't that he had an illicit relationship outside the bounds of his marriage. History's tattle-tales inform us of many powerful men and women who seek sexual thrills somewhere other than in the marital bed. The issue is that, when confronted by Congressional inquiries, the President lied under oath about his inappropriate relationship.

It's the LIES that get a powerful person in trouble. Clinton should have learned that from Nixon. Nixon compounded the horror that was the Watergate burglary by lying for months and trying to cover up his connection to it.

By lying, to Congress, to the press, to the people of the United States and most of all to his daughter and wife, Bill Clinton only made a bad situation worse. If he had been honest, first of all with his wife, and then if if they had talked to their daughter, THEN he could have faced Congress and the Washington Press corps and said something like, "Yes, I did in fact have a personal relationship with Miss Lewinsky. I regret the pain and embarrassment this has caused my family. However it is a Personal matter and in NO way has it effected my ability to perform my duties as President of the United States of America. That is all. I will answer no other questions."

That statement would have been short, honest, and would have avoided all the turmoil to which he and the nation were subjected. But, like so many cheating husbands, he tried to bluff his way out of a bad situation, again. This time it just didn't work.
