Perspectives on 9/11: The politics of culture, the culture of politics

First of all, without 9/11, Bushco would not have had an agenda. That is reason enough to suspect some hanky panky. Right wingers always say to me, "Don't forget 9/11 !" I always look at them straight in the eye and tell them that I have not forgotten the irresponsible actions of our government Dept's. to handle such an attack, mainly the immigrations folks who were brilliant enough to approve the ring leader of the attacks, flight training; The airport security folks who let these clowns walk right through even though there was some suspicion. Yes, I blame our government. Meanwhile, Bush reads a book about goats (while holding the book upside down) and continues obviously not alarmed at all over the news of the attacks. Yes, I believe our own government (Bush & Cheney) set it up to not only have an agenda but to use as fear over the heads of American people and as a false reason to attach Iraq. My dog, B.B. could run the country better that Bush and unfortunately, it's going to take a lot to undo his damage to our once great country. Notice whenever Bush or Cheney get in some hot water, a new terrorist alert pops up to divert our attention. Fear. And the American people voted for these disgusting excuses for leaders twice? Once again, some hanky panky. I find it hard to believe the American people could be that gullible. Impeachment would send a strong message to Washington. The Republicans spent a ton of our money on trying to impeach Bill Clinton for creative use of a cigar while Bush and Cheney create murder and mayhem at a great cost of lives and money and they are still in office. That disgusting!
