Freelance writing

Although it is often important to hold an understanding of the elements which surround you as an individual and how such things effect both you as a person and as a writer, it is also critical to any freelancer, that they have a strong understanding of the creative process itself and how it should be utilized to its maximum effect. Therefore, this essay shall examine the more theoretical facets behind writing, freelance writing and creativity.

Firstly, most creativity is born of beauty and tranquillity, not of chaos and anarchy. Thus, it is most obvious that one has a personal space where they are able to go to create and also to get away from the troubles of the out side world. In a similar sense, it is often important to ensure that the troubles of the outside world do not follow into this haven of creativity, or your thoughts and internal process shall be marred by the concerns of the every day. On the other hand, concern, anxiety and personal dilemma are, for the most part, three good sources from which ideas can be taken. Furthermore, on that note, if something has troubled you and you know of at least one person who has shared similar problems, there is often a good chance that such things may have concerned other people and addressing such things can often act as the foundation upon which a popular article maybe formed. Essentially, it is important to remember that real life circumstances are often some of the most widely read pieces and will commonly prove to be the most popular. Therefore, experience and personal insight into an issue are invaluable resources and should be used without hesitation.

Creativity is often a subjective area and open to interpretation. However, anyone involved with the creative industries or disciples will be able to tell you that there is also a degree of difficulty in understanding the process methodology, let alone the practical side of creative design and formation. Nevertheless, creativity is something which often comes natural to most individuals, but unfortunately, due to the stressful times in which we live, such things are often not noticed or even ignored. This, however, is often one of the greatest tragedies when it comes to any form of creativity, as many philosophers and scholars have argued, creativity is never irrelevant and is always an important factor is society it should never be suppressed and always embraced irrespective of the circumstances from which it was derived. However, with that said, sometimes it is not always plausible for an individual to put down what they are doing and start working on what ever project had just inspired them. Therefore, it is always a good idea to keep a diary of sorts, so that you may write down your ideas and have something to look back upon later when you are struggling to find fresh inspiration. This can also act as a log, so that you may track your own thoughts and see from which areas most of your inspiration is derived. Another important aspect of this, is the ability to be able to plan future projects that you might want to look about doing at a later date.
Similar to academic essay or research presentations, creative work such as writing and other forms of art can be organised in a similar fashion. Through this methodology, preparation, planning and research become as important as the subject itself. Not only will this add depth to the project being undertaken, but will also allow for more formal organisation through which your workings maybe completed.
