a life long student, I would of course write down; university. Next, I would think about what this involved and would then go on to write these things beneath that area. For me, this would look a little something like this:
University
Travel
Study
Stud ent fees
Exams
Due dates for assignments and so on.
Once you have done this for each area of your life, you will begin to see just how complicated your life can be. Next comes the part of recognition. Carefully look at each area of your life and the facets involved and think about how they make you feel and wether they are empowering or draining. This can also be done with the people in our lives, including friends and family. Although this may sometimes feel a little cruel, it is important to be able to admit to yourself just how another individual makes you feel.

Now, having written down the areas in your life, the specific facets involved and the benefits or negative influences derived, one is able to then gain a better perspective of where their energy comes from and where it is going. Things such as this can also be used for other areas in your life, including one specific area or the activities in which you participate throughout the day. Through holding a clearer understanding of your own life and which areas of it either help or hinder, it is possible to start reducing the clutter which surrounds you. That is to say, through recognition of the negative elements of your life, it is possible to start building action plans by which such things can be reduced or removed all together. After all, self improvement can often be the best thing an individual can do.

Freelance writing can be one of the most difficult occupations in which one might engage. It is often highly competitive, greatly dependent on the individual's writing speed, skills and of course, their knowledge of the industry. If such problems were not already enough, there is also the dreaded writer's block, lack of time and even a lack of inspiration may cause troubles later on down the track. Yes, it is no secret being a freelance writer, let alone a successful one, is a difficult task for any individual to achieve and veterans of the industry will often tell you that it has taken years for them to get to where they are today. However, with that said, there are few, if any, other occupations which allow the freedom, flexibility and sense of accomplishment as one might achieve through a career in freelance writing.
