BEING SINGLE AT THE DOG PARK
Love me, love my pet.
Being single at the dog park is the perfect dating hunting ground.
Going to the dog park may well be the best way to find someone who will love your pet, and hopefully you too.
Common folklore has it that a single person has a good chance of finding love if they hang out at the local laundromat or the produce department of the local food store.
Unfortunately if you do meet someone there, the best you will know about them is that they like to wear clean clothes or eat fresh fruits and veggies.
Unless the produce is for their pet or they are cleaning the dog bed, and they make a special effort to let you know that, you will not know if this clean and possibly healthy eating person is someone who is also fond of animals.
On the other hand if you go to a common dog park area there is a good chance that some of the other people there are also single and looking for a relationship with a pet lover.
It seems that this may be one of the best ways to find doglovers/petlovers without having to do a lot of searching and questioning.
It would be nice if there were other pet specific parks - say a reptile park for reptile lovers or a horse park for those who are fond of fillies (of the 4 legged kind), and so on.
It is a lot harder to find someone who will love you and your pet if your pet is one of the above or, say, a cat, a potbellied pig, or even a gerbil.
Actually the pot bellied pig may be one of those animals that makes for a perfect icebreaker.
Walking down the street with Ollie should get a lot of people asking you all sorts of questions. The right questions from the right person, the one who meets many of your other requirements - short or tall, brown eyed, or green, blonde hair or brunette, and their willingness to lean down and pet the bristly sparse hair of your curly tailed buddy, their lack of the 'ick' factor, and you may be on the road to romance.
Cats are harder to use as dating bait.
It is the rare man or woman who is able to get their Tigger or Sweetie to walk on a leash. That pretty much leaves out meeting someone in the 'catpark'.
It is also harder to know just from walking down the street who is or is not a cat person.
If you look at the ring finger of the person next to you in the pet department of your local Walmart or pet store, and there is no ring or suntan line indicating it has just been removed, there is always the age old gambit of asking for advice.
This holds true for most species of pet..
"Excuse me, how

I'll admit it I was a bit skeptical at first. The fences were not high enough and they looked as if a proper gust of wind
