Good flowers to plant in autumn

The leaves are changing and the breeze is taking on a race. The soil is still certainly existent; with this in mind let us ponder over the fillers of this beautiful yet sometimes abused earth of ours. Being a stay at home mom, mums are just the kind of flowers I have most recently planted. These beautiful perennials come in all sorts and shades. The purple mum is my favorite. Just today those paisley purples hit the dirt running, and alongside them and oyster plant or two, just to bring out those subtle shades that often get overlooked. Goldenrod, sometimes looked to as a worthless weed, can add a ray of sunshine to those dull and drabby fall days. Let us not forget those pansies either, they are colorful and vibrant against an autumn sky! So keep your eyes open and don't drop that shovel yet, fall is here to stay and with it flowers are in too. You can't go wrong with a pansy or a mum; so try one of these priceless perennials in your garden and maybe even spice it up with a Japanese Red Maple or two. When the wind has whisped through your hair and the chill has taken away each degree of humidity in the air, cherish it and share it with all who pass by. Plant and plant some more, only few enjoy this so called hard work. Therapy, that's what I call it, gardening that is and it is ongoing just as each season approaches each and every year. Many maples may add color to any outside area of yours. Just try it, you'll see, it's not so hard! Simply read the directions, find a perfect location, and plant. Oh yeah, you may need to water it occasionally too!
