Comparing TNA and WWE wrestling

The WWE has some of the most loyal fans that television has ever seen. Every week we tune in to see the latest drama in the world of wrestling and wait with baited breath for the next installment. TNA is an up an coming wrestling series which brings some old and new faces to fans world wide. Below is a break down on how the two companies differ from each other.

WRESTLING TALENT - TNA has a strong showing of wrestling talent with the likes of A.J. Styles and Kurt Angle. They have done well in taking "average" wrestlers in the world of the WWE and making them superstars. The WWE focuses on marketing of the wrestlers which is why they tend to lack in this area. If you are a fan of actual talent then you will want to stick with TNA.

ACTION - The WWE has the budget to put on some great entertainment.....even if the wrestlers themselves are boring to watch. The Undertaker is not very technical, however his character leaves the door wide open for some amazing stunts. Lightning bolts from the ceiling, firework displays, broken stage set. The WWE is by far the leader in raw action.

STAGING - The TNA arenas are dark with the fans sitting close to the action. The WWE has a very bright setup in huge stadiums world wide. WWE has decided not to update their setup over the past few years and have started to become stale in this area. TNA has brought a fresh idea with the six sided ring and a classic setup with a modern feel to it. The darkness of the TNA allows you to focus on the action itself with very little distraction. TNA is a leader is this category.

EXPOSURE - There is not even a challenge when it comes to exposure. Vince McMahon has the ability to have all the media focus on his product with stunts such as Mike Tyson in the ring and faking his own death. TNA does not even register in this category.

Overall both have a great and unique product. There is really no clear winner at this point, nor is there likely to be in the near future. There is more then enough room on television for both to showcase their entertainment and more then enough wrestling fans around to enjoy them.
