I believe it is always better to have a large group of friends. The truth is that no one is perfect. There are certain things that we cannot share with even the closest of friends. at such times we badly feel the need for another kind of friend.

This is not to say that even the closest of friends are not good friends. Of course they are such good people to have come so close to you. But you can not simply find everything in one person. You may have a very friendly, talkative, sweet and caring friend, but he/she may not be that good a listener.

This has happened to me many times. While I myself am a very good listener for my friends and acquaintances, when I need to talk to someone there are only 1 or 2 whom I would like to share with.

I believe that each friend has their own value and their own separate place in our hearts. No one can take there place. Everyone is unique and irreplaceable in our lives.

In different situations, our needs and requirements are different. May be one friend is a great to be with at parties, while another is great for lonely solitary moments. One friend may be adventurous and another objective. Having a large group of friends means that, each can help you become a better person in there own way. Of course friendship is all about caring and supporting.

A large group of friends mean that there are many people who love and like you enough to call you their friends. They are promising to be there for you and care for you. I believe with a large group of friends we can never be lonely.

Even if a few are busy, there is always some one else to talk to. Having a lot of friends, means you are likeable, friendly and caring. It shows how much you appreciate other people. Friends are a blessing for life and the more the merrier.

I believe one can never have too many friends. However, we must not forget that while we have rights over friends, we also have duties towards them. Having a large group of friends is only good if you can do justice to them. You have to cherish and treasure them. Friends are the most invaluable gifts of nature and we need to take care of them.
