Poetry: Desire

Her eyes pierce my soul.
Can she see what i'm thinking?
Can she feel what i'm feeling?
Can she make me whole?

Her beauty consumes me.
I cannot sleep,
I cannot eat,
Could it be...?

It's lust, no more,
Too young for love they say.
Misguided youth, misguided soul,
It's your ego that's sore.

One heart, One mind,
One life, one soul.
Escapism, eroticism,
My concubine, my valentine.

I could be so much more,
Than a lover with curtains drawn.
I could be your life and love,
If you weren't a whore.
