I did not go to preschool it was not common practice when I was growing up. When I did go to kindergarten I was not prepared to be in a group of kids for half a day for five days a week. I had never been taught my alphabets, nor did I know how to hold a pencil. I had such a horrible time in kindergarten I was not use to being with all those other kids and n what was expected of me. I believe if I had had at least one or two years of preschool I would have known what was expected of me. I continued to struggle most of the time in school until I graduated out of high school. I was a C student while studding my heart out.
Both of my children started preschool when they where three. They went two days a week first when they where three then three days a week when they where four. When both of my children went into kindergarten they where prepared. Both of my children where good students, and my son is borderline geniuses and my daughter always earned A's all through school and into college. I feel both of my children did well in school because they went to preschool when they where three and four years old.
I do not agree with Hillary Clinton on a lot of her proposals but on this one I feel she is right. I feel that if our children start preschool at the age of three they will be prepared for kindergarten and it will start a good foundation for the rest of their lives.
