Article ToolsYour determination to live life to the full is inspiring.
If it could be bottled, your fortune would be made.
Your constant smile, your infectious laugh,
bring out a beauty rarely seen.
Your stories of adventures had,
keep in all in ear shot transfixed.
The limitations your body has placed on you,
you have thrown them to the wind.
You will not let something that trivial
stop you experiencing everything you can.
The chair that people stare at,
and see restrictions, showing pity in their eyes.
Has brought you freedom and Independence,
not seen in many without the need of your four wheel drive.
Your determination is inspiring,
You achieve your every goal.
I thank God that I know you and try to follow your lead.
(Poem for a friend)
