Evaluating the book to film adaptation of The Princess Bride

I once heard a saying that there are two kinds people in this world those who love The Princess Bride and those who have never seen it. That was about the movie. I say there are three, they are those who love The Princess Bride those who have never heard of it and those who have read the book and seen the movie and love it all the more. I fit in category three I love anything that has to do with The Princess Bride. After I read the book I went and rented the movie and watched it again then I read the book again.

I don't think anyone in this whole world could read this book and not like it. It is very witty and light yet it has a message of true love forever it has the meaning of avenging. In the movie the boy asks the father if there is any sports in the story the grandpa says "Are you kidding? Fencing. Fighting. Torture. Revenge. Giants. Monsters. Chases. Escapes. True love. Miracles." To me that sounds like a pretty dang exciting story!.

I think that probably my favorite part in the story is when Buttercup confesses her love to Westly, she goes into this big huge long schpeel how she loves him more every second and couldn't live without him how she would fly to Eygpt for him, or jump into the sky and other crazy things like that. And then he just shuts the door without a single word, and then when he comes and talks to her that night he tries to explain to her that he loves her and she doesn't understand it so he has to explain even more, then she bursts out and says "Westly if you are joking with me I will simply kill you!"

Probably my most favorite character would have to be Inigo, Inigo spends his whole life trying to avenge his father, when you read the book it gets in to the story more how he tried to fight Count Rugen before when he was eleven and how the Count just laughs at him and from that day forth he had to seek revenge.
So this is my favorite book now it was really very good and I'm hoping I can find the sequel I know its out there somewhere.
