Karma: What you reap, you keep

The Power of Negativity, Change and our Thoughts...

Negativity and our thoughts.... It's all around us. I've seen so many posts and heard so many "Why does this happen to me?", "What did I do wrong", "Why does it seem that my life is so bad at times?" etc., etc., etc.. I've also seen the posts: "Please pray for me", "Please pray for this person...", etc., etc.,... (I think you get the idea.)

I am not a mean-hearted person and my heart does go out to those in hardship. Yes, we can pray for them and offer consolation's until we are just plain worn out. But what is that going to get them? What is it in Their lives that is bringing / attracting this "negative" vibe? We can not control this for them. Only they can.

What I mean by this is: We get what we put out there. If you are a happy person all the time, chances are you have a pretty good life (providing you are not fake about it underneath). You have the friends, a good job, a great partner (if you want one, that is!) and an awesome kid! Now, if you are completely miserable all the time, chances are not many people want to be around you too much. You are putting out the wrong 'vibe' that no one wants to feel. Then there are those that just get lost altogether where they 'disguise' things with drinking, drugs, etc.. That's another topic and out of my scope! (But still, if you think about it, you can see how these people do 'tie-in' to this picture in a way.)

~or~ if you have been neglecting to take care of yourself: say for example you are in need of your physical and it's way overdue and you just keep putting it off... The universe will force you to recieve the care you need. Something could occur in your life to make you end up in the doctor's office/ hospital for something else, only to find out you may need a some extra rest for something going on in your system (i.e. a cold, or an infection).

~or~ how about the "Gosh, I'm so sick of work!" thoughts that we are guilty of having? When you are arriving to work or are leaving, you end up getting into fender-bender. And the time when you want to call in sick on the day of work only to end up getting sick? Sure it may only be a headache, but still you wanted to enjoy the day! This is the power of your thoughts. This is what you put out there.

The cool thing is this: If you do not like your life, you can always change it! It is never, ever to late. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. If they do, then they are just plain full of it, they are afraid and they have their
