Are African-Americans really free?

African Americans are not free and we will never be free unless we pick-up where Dr. King left off. For some reason it seems as if the black people, who achieve success in America, tend to forget who they are and the price that our ancestors paid and that many of us are still paying today. There is no need for me to mention names because they know who they are. Perhaps the best thing that we can do here in America is chose not to participate in the white system until things change to our satisfaction. The laws in America often work against us and I believe that we can do a much better job of policing ourselves and removing ourselves from the filth that compels us to kill one another, abandon our children, use drugs, and defame the black woman.

We have been so patient with our American captives and they are blinded by their foolish ideals, which they know force us into a corner, that we can no longer tolerate being in. America expects us to advance equally while they control the level of our freedoms but this is a game that we no longer care to play because we have lost too much of ourselves in it. If our interest are not important then we are not Americans so just call us Africans. The simple comments that I have read to deny us our dignity entrenches us in the past, even an imbecile knows that we are em batted in America. We are not expendable but Americans acts as if we have no values, no hopes, no dreams and no need beyond that which they have bestowed upon us. America is so ashamed about our treatment that it's in denial about slavery and everything that affects our ability to gain closure.
