I am a size 4 (or at least I used to be before having children).
I have some skin tight, low-cut, barley-cover-my-tush clothes (or at least I used to).
I felt completely comfortable at nightclubs in my "little" clothes (or at least I used to).
I would wear my "hot" clothes in any atmosphere, regardless of the family setting or ages around me. (WHOOAAHHH...SCREEECH...I did NOT used to do that!)

We, as women, know what we are wearing and why. There is nothing wrong with that in the appropriate place. But, it is so degrading to push that too far. Everyone around us recognizes the cleavage that we show or the curve of our behind when it's barely covered. And it's too bad when a woman wearing that type of ensemble will not just openly admit her intention when doing so.

I am 40, and if I wear even a semi-low cut blouse, it is hard for anyone, especially men, to keep their eyes up with mine. For it is natural instinct for them to want to look down. And again, I am 40; there is nothing spectacular about the way I look. But, with a low-cut blouse, my appearance just gets extra attention. EVERY woman knows this. And, I find it so sad to want to flaunt that just to get an ogle. Even sadder not to admit it.

Ms. Ebbert played dumb about the outfit she was wearing on Southwest Airlines when asked to deboard the plane. And that is the catch. When wearing revealing attire, women know what is revealed. No stupidity there.

If you are going to wear it, own it. Don't deny it. Obviously, she is proud of her body and she should be.

She complained that she was embarrassed and felt like everyone was looking at her. Well, wasn't that the point in the first place? To get noticed?

Embarrassed by the tone used by the staff of the plane when asking her to leave? That is probable and understandable. But, if you can't take the heat of it, well, you know...

Ms. Ebbert is young and leaning early what provocation will get you...lots of attention. And, that was precisely the goal she set out for. That may be taking it too far, for I am not in her head and do not know her exact reasoning for selecting that outfit. But, it does seems like it was attention grabbing number.

I do think that she should take this opportunity to grab her 15 minutes of fame. She should run with it!

Maybe not run with outstretched legs...she's not covered for that...
