on one foot while you try to finish pressing your strap into place balancing precariously on one foot and looking quite ungraceful with one hand on the wall to keep from falling over and a foaming toothbrush in your mouth. Quickly grabbing a wash-cloth you scour your face hoping it won't matter if it's not dry. Dry! OH, no, your hair is still wet. Quickly snatching up the hair dryer, you turn it on full heat and full blow, yikes, what's with that clock, why won't it slow down? Fine! Just leave it a little damp and return to the make-up.
Whizzing through your routine, you finish your make up with a minute to spare, or so you thought, is that the bus you hear? YIKES AND DOUBLE YIKES! Out the door you run, panting at the door of the bus you make you way to the back and see your friend quickly putting her make-up with the help of a handheld mirror to see what she's doing. The bus lurches out and bounces merrily along the two of you carefully checking the make-up location after that surprise. Doesn't he know how to drive? For real, we ARE trying to get ready here, have a little compassion.
Finally, nerves shot, but looking and feeling much better, you vault off the bus to your first class, knowing you've done all you can for that dreaded picture. They better not tell you to say cheese after all you been through or they'll be getting an earful.
