A Dream Of A Man

Darling, bring your love to me, don't keep me in the dark
Show me in the words you speak, you mean all that you say
I've waited for a lifetime, needing all you are
Praying, hoping, seeking and wishing on a star

You arrived on the wings of destiny, you are my loving fate
I know my heart, I've heard your words, now bring your love to me
My body aches to hold you, my lips need a loving kiss
Fill the needs that in my life, I never knew I missed.

We've talked of dreams and fantasies, which we can make the truth
I've touched your heart and you've touched mine now all I need is you.
It would never go unmentioned, the wonder you are to me
You'd never want for love, but you must be with me to see

Feelings of love and friendship are waiting to told
Tender caresses you'd feel each day, in my arms I would you enfold.
We've found each other at long last, let's move forward and celebrate
This love we know will grow and grow, before it is too late

We both know that once we are together
The ending will be written in stone
We'll share our lives, in joy, in strife
Two hearts truly living as one.
