Rodeo: Sex discrimination in barrel racing

I wonder about the real motive of this topic. It seems to me that any man or woman that has a sport, he or she loves, should indeed have the ability to compete, of course that does not mean that men should be involved in woman's barrel racing, as a long time cowboy, raised around the rodeo and having trained and rode many types of horses, including barrel horses, I see no need for men to compete against woman in a barrel race, it is like men wanting to run in the woman's mile run, there is a difference, and I honestly don't care who or when it was started, segregation of men and woman in sports is a good thing, what your asking is the same as making men and woman play golf together, how about tennis, there is a woman's side and a mens side. There are many woman that want to ride bulls, should they be allowed to ride with men? the answer is no, but i see no reason we can't have a womens bull riding league. I would pay to see a woman riding bulls, but not competing against men. so instead of wasting time wanting to ride with the girls why don't you take all the energy you are using trying to break into a womens sport and start the mens barrel racing society of America, the MBRSA could be the next big thing, and if America is willing to see such a sport it will prosper and the huge jackpots you want to win so much will be available. That makes a lot more sense to me then the alternative, unless your just trying to make a name for yourself and get some free publicity and have no interest in the actual raced itself, if that is the case then by all means keep trying and keep whining. And I won't even try to charge you for using my idea, you can have the MBRSA for free, so work your butt off and get a men's barrel racing group started and stop trying to ruin a good thing.
