Predictions: 2007 Dallas Cowboys

The 2007 Dallas Cowboys! This looks like a team capable of putting out a record that hasn't been seen in Dallas since the trio of Aikman, Irvin, and Smith split up.

QB-With the better half of one full season under his belt Tony Romo should have a little more confidence. Romo is a good pocket passer and has enough athletic ability to avoid the rush. Perhaps the best news for fans is that Romo will no longer have to worry about holding kicks. That job now belongs to new back up QB Brad Johnson, whom with a Super Bowl ring on his finger could be a great motivator/mentor for Romo.

RB-Marion Barber is clearly the back of the future. Julius Jones is in the final year of his contract and unless something drastic happens will most likely be spending his last season in a Cowboys jersey. As far as the use of these backs look for number similar to last season. Jones will be a work horse and most likely have more yards then Barber. Barber however will see the end zone likely double the amount of times that Jones does. Expect to see some difference in the yardage gap between Jones and Barber. If Dallas is really going to commit to Barber as their primary back of the future he will most likely be granted more carries then last year to make sure he can handle this.

WR/TE-Terrell Owens workout ethic has him just as much of a deadly power and speed combo as he was last year. Owens put up much better numbers last year when Romo took over as Bledsoe was obviously more comfortable with Terry Glenn. Romo's reads start with Owens so look for him to put up even bigger numbers this year then he did last year. Terry Glenn is on the downside of his career, there is a big question mark in his ability to stay healthy and even at 100% Patrick Crayton may be a more favorable target for Romo. Jason Witten also so his numbers increase when Romo came in last year and could have his biggest season yet.

O-Line-This unit isn't what it was back in the days of Allen, Williams, Newton, and Stephnoski. The O-Line however is just as good as last year and since Romo is not only much more mobile then Bledsoe but he also has a much quicker release so it does leave the line with some margin for error.

D-Line-Jason Ferguson hasn't made the impact he was expected to and neither has Marcus Spears. This is may be the weakest spot on this Dallas Cowboys team, fortunately the line is surrounded by a strong defense which should be able to make up for the occasional mistake.

Line Backers-This might be the best Line
