Unfortunately sexual promiscuity is applauded within the male population yet frowned upon when the female or woman practices such a thing. Why is that? Are we not all considered equal under the statute of laws written by mankind? If you look upon past examples and even true ones at that you can not help but see that woman who may fall prey to "sexual promiscuity" are often referred to in negative terms. Oh many may say "No that is not always true" or " Well... not really..." but in distant countries in the world, not including the United States, when a female is caught being unfaithful to her mate or even if the thought of a such a thing arises she is ridiculed, she may be beaten, may be tortured, and even put to death! Yet the male is often applauded and is genuinely respected by those with in the same community.

Just take a second and actually consider the names associated with a woman who may just partake in the same lifestyle that the majority of men now enjoy! We are called Whores, Skanks, Tramps, Sluts, Hoes, Bitches... wow the list goes on and on. When a female cheats or even practices sexual promiscuity while living a single life, it is not considered something wholesome. Matter of fact it is usually frowned upon. Many who have found out may even look at an individuals character and put it into question. Woman are thought to be something dirty and very unconventional when the topic of discussion arises. Why can a man, who is thought to be just as equal to a female partake in such a thing and not feel different about it. Oh you disagree! Well say for example there is both a male and a female who live the same lifestyle and sexual promiscuity is involved no matter how big or how small, the female is not usually pardoned. Men cheat and indulge their selves plenty of times yet the one time a female does it we are despised with a passion. We are called names you wouldn't believe.
Realistically no matter what gender practices this type of activity it is the females that bore the brunt. It is the female that is thought to be unclean and "fast". Oh when a man does it "he is just being a man". How many of us have ran into an individual that thinks that it is normal, even healthy for a man to sleep around yet woman are portrayed as having a lack of morals when the situation falls in their lap. We are thought to be shameful and many feel should know better but that is all because this is how society accepts or rejects the trend. The matter is not truly in our hands. This is something that society has labeled unfit for females to practice and that is just the way it is.
