How to increase business for your website

There are many ways to get more business for a website. Some of the popular ones would be opt-ins and blogs.

But the primary thing is to get the traffic to the website. If we have the best designed website, the best opt-in offer or blog, but no one knows about our website, then there is absolutely no way to get any business.

This is very much like the chicken and egg story. Which comes first. Should I have a great salescopy or traffic? It is very difficult to actually have only one without the other. If you have traffic but a bad salescopy, you are more likely to turn away customers than to gain them. But if you have an excellent salescopy and no traffic, again, you have no way to capture the business.

I would say that in order to get more business for your website, you would need to do your homework. First you would need to find out what the public is searching for (what is known as keywords), hence their interest. Then you should write your salescopy in such a way that those keywords will be found easily by the search engines and will push your site to the top 10 position.

Once you are there and customers go to your site, you should ensure that your salescopy is captivating enough to lure them in and sign up for your opt-ins and any other products you may offer. Your subscribers normally become your best customers and the longer they stay with you, the more they will buy from you and recommend you. This can only happen if you continue to serve them well and provide quality service and products to them.

With a good opt-in list, there is no end to what you can do to bring in more business. Constant emails to your customers, viral marketing, using autoresponders to keep your customers in touch, newsletters etc are some of the other ways you can use to enhance your business. Ultimately, it will be your service to the customers that will keep them coming. But remember, the first thing you need to do is bring them to your site and keep them there.
