The lamenting soul is hard to appease
Stressful, hurtful, never at ease
Looking to the past, sensing the pain
Of a lost love. . . forever was slain.
I see his face in lost stares
I feel his breath, my heart tears
Wondering why my fear had won
. . .why my life ended and his begun
For the want of love I now realize,
relief is in the melancholy and cries
My heart aches for another day
with my love being so far away.
