Drab Winter Skin, is not the new accessory for ANY season. Here are a few simple steps you can do that will keep YOUR skin soft and supple. Come on ...your worth it right?>
* EXFOLIATE* You must get the dead skin cells on the surface off the skin in order to reveal that soft skin we all have hiding......Another perk of exfoliating is moisturizers/oils will penetrate into the skin easier.
Body and face exfoliators can be purchased anywhere...from your local target........... to your high end dept. store...your choice*
* KEEP CAFFEINE INTAKE TO MINIMUM* your hair skin and nails are usually the last to receive any hydration .....and when you drink beverages with caffeine it takes H2O from your body to process..... WHEN IN DOUBT>>>>>DRINK WATER!
* GET A GREAT MOISTURIZER AND USE IT DAILY* after exfoliating in the shower....towel off and apply moisturizer to slightly damp skin( head to toe). I love using apricot oil...jojoba oil...all can be found at health food stores......SHEA BUTTER is also a great hydra-tor.....stay away from mineral oil based products as they don't seem to penetrate deep enough and leave the skin dry later......
* KEEP EXPOSED AREAS COVERED IN EXTREME COLD * keep areas covered when going out into cold weather. THe cold weather can strip skin of it's natural oils and leave it dry and scaly.
