THE COUPLE'S SHOWER
This baby shower theme is inspired by the growing trend in which Dads have a more "hands on" roll in daily baby care.

FOOD

A pot luck buffet is a sure way to gather an assortment of foods to satisfy everyone.

ACTIVITIES
Your activities should be geared to both men and women.

Set up a "Tip Jar" and have guests write down their parenting advice.

WHEN AND WHERE
Traditionally the baby shower should be held in the 7th or 8th month. Plan the day around Mom and Dad's schedules.

The shower can be held anywhere the guests of honor will feel most comfortable.

WORKING MOM SHOWER
It has become common practice for even the co-workers of Moms-To-Be to host baby showers.

A luncheon style buffet is best for parties held during lunch hour.

Guess Mommies Measurements-each guest pulls a length of ribbon that they think will fit around Mom's belly. The guest with the closest estimate wins the prize.

Dirty Diaper Door Prize-each guest is pinned with a small piece of cloth formed into a diaper. Only 1 is made "dirty" with a little swipe of mascara. Toward the end of the shower each guest looks in their diaper to see who got the "dirty" diaper.
