Of course, they shouldn't! Everyone knows that Halloween is nothing more than a modernized version of a holiday celebrated by Devil worshipers! Just like Christmas is another modernized version of some other silly pagan holy day, and don't even get me started about Easter!
Seriously, what harm is there in it? I'm pretty sure that when kids are dressing up like their favorite Ninja Turtle or favorite Disney Princess begging for candy the last thing they're thinking is "I wonder how my Lord Satan will like this!". They're thinking about walking around, seeing other kids dressed up, checking out the decorations of other houses, and most importantly CANDY!
Kids have different priorities than the rest of us. On Christmas, they're not thinking about the birth of Jesus - or the death/re-birth of the Pagan God - they're thinking about presents! On Easter, they're not thinking of the death/resurrection of Jesus - or the fertility rites represented by eggs and bunnies. They're thinking about CANDY!
I believe that a parent should take the time to let their kids know the meanings behind the holidays that they celebrate. Teach them the Christian meaning, but do some research so that their children can also learn of the faiths that helped to contribute to them as well. As long as your children are well informed then they should be able to appreciate those special days a little bit more.
