Feelings, the body's amplification of our emotions, are a wonderful thing. In any given moment our feelings are giving us a world of information. Prior to our entry into this physical arena, we knew that in any given moment we could have access to our Non-Physical Self. We knew that there would be no separation between our physical and Non-Physical Self, and we knew that our emotions and feelings would be our indicator on how connected or disconnected we are to our True Self.
As vibrational beings our emotions are the way we interpret whether or not we are allowing the fullness of who-we-are. We do the allowing or disallowing via the thoughts we are thinking. Thoughts are forms of energy (as is everything within the Universe) and they carry their own unique vibration or frequency. When we entertain thoughts which are not a vibrational match to our True Self and our desires we experience emotions of discomfort, frustration, and even depression. On the other hand, when we are happy, enthusiastic, and optimistic then rest assured your thoughts are a vibrational match to your desires and the essence of your being.
Our emotions do follow our thoughts, however this is not the end of the situation. Being the wonderful vibrational interpreters our bodies are, it translates each emotion that is brought about by our thinking into a chemical or neuropeptide. This neuropeptide is then carried throughout the nervous system and affects the body in its unique way (thereby amplifying each emotion into a feeling). If the thought is revisited enough times, the body can and will eventually become addicted to the chemical (emotion/feeling), which gives rise to thoughts which gives rise to the feeling.
With all this circular reasoning we can still see how our thinking initiated the cycle. Our feelings are always our vibrational interpretation of what is going on with our thinking.
