us. I wouldn't let anyone hurt him again.
I was young and impulsive. That fact was all too real to me, but in that moment, I knew what I had to do if I wanted Kenta to be safe. I looked down at him as we made love slowly, admiring him, and I formed a plan within my mind. My parents would be back from England in four days. In that time, Kenta and I would move into Ima's apartment. Her sister had recently gotten engaged and moved out, so Ima was having trouble keeping up with the bills. If Kenta and I could move in with her, we could help her with the financial stuff and, most importantly, Kenta wouldn't have to suffer his mother's abuse anymore.
I knew Kenta's only worry would be for his younger sister, Emi. He'd never leave her alone with their mother. So, we'd take her with us. Ima's apartment was big enough for all of house. Of course, we'd be living in close quarters, but we'd be like the loving family none of us ever had.
I made the decision with certainty as Kenta groaned my name in completion and wrapped his thin arms around my shoulders. "Tora", he then whispered, breathing heavily. I looked at him, adoring the beautiful blush on his face. "I love you, Tora", he said softly, closing his eyes and pulling me closer to him, if it was at all possible.
"I love you, too, Kenta."
He smiled and relaxed his arms, letting them fall limply against the mattress. I pulled out of him and lie down next to him, listening to his rhythmic breathing. We'd be alright now. I knew it in my heart. As long as we could be together, as long as we were free to love each other, I was sure we'd be alright.
